NarainÂs ÂThambikottai starts rolling!

The movie launch of NarainÂs ÂThambikottai was launched with a pooja in AVM Pillayar Kovil today. Prabhu, Mysskin, ÂJayamÂRavi, ÂJayam Raja, Mohan, Kalaipuli S Thanu, Prasanna, Nakul and Poonam Bajwa were among others who were present for the function.
Directed by R Ammu Ramesh, the movie is produced by producer Balasundaram's (of the famous Devar Films) son-in-law R K Suresh under the banner Thambikottai Rajeswari Films. The producer is said to be director R Ammu RameshÂs classmate as well. ÂThambikottai is the debut venture of Ammu Ramesh, who is a one time associate of ÂJayam Raja.
The film has Narain and Poonam Bajwa in the lead. We hear that Sangeetha will be doing a negative role in this film while Prabhu and Meena are doing a key role. Kausalya, Aarthi, M S Baskar, Santhanam, ÂGanja Karuppu, Manobala, Alex, Rajendran, Crane Manohar and Muthukalai do supporting roles. ÂThambikkottai has cinematography by Kannan and music by D.Imman.
The filmÂs shoot is planned to be carried on in Chennai, Hyderabad, Thambikottai and Pudukottai.
